Flat Stanley Found The Ohio Buckeye Tree

The Ohio state tree is the Buckeye Tree. When the buckeye pods ripen they fall to the ground and dry with a spiked outer layer. You break the outer layer off and you find the buckeye within. The Indians in ancient days would crack the buckeye open and cook the nut within and mash it into a meal. It is said that they believed it had medicinal value. WARNING: IT IS SAID THAT IF YOU EAT THE NUT IN THE BUCKEYE IT IS POISONOUS! I guess I wouldn't adventure to try to eat it.

We Passed!

We are so excited to share the news! Our photographs have passed! Our three books last week passed the quality tests! Yeah! Of course, we have to give the credit to lots of prayers and guidance by people who are called of the Lord to help us along the way. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We have so much to learn about taking the best photographs we can take so our work continues to be the best quality we can do. It is so important for our photographs to meet the standards so when they are published down the line the indexers can read them clearly to index everyone's name correctly so others can find their ancestors. We love our mission! We love our Ward! We love Ohio! We love our companions! We are so blessed!
