Gone from home a few weeks and look what happens!
One of our neighbors discovered a gas leak and the gas company had to evacuate the neighborhood until it was under control!

Kirtland Temple and School of the Prophets
We felt it an honor and a privilege to serve a mission in the Ohio Cleveland Mission at this time but after we had a tour of Kirtland by Karl Ricks Anderson yesterday, we feel it a very great honor and a privilege to serve a mission in the Ohio Cleveland Mission. There are four areas that will be built up before the Savior comes again. Jerusalem, which is now at war so the time is not yet, Salt Lake City, which is already built up, Jackson County Missouri, which has not been announced by a Prophet so it is not time yet, and Kirtland, Ohio, which was announced in 1979 by President Ezra Taft Benson at the dedicatory prayer of the land bought for the first Stake Center after 150 years of waiting to build the kingdom in Ohio. What an honor to be part of building "Joseph's Kirtland" again. We sat in the Kirtland Temple where prophets had sat and where the Savior appeared to Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery. There are 25 documented appearances of the Savior in Kirtland. We knelt in prayer at the School of the Prophets where Prophets had sat and knelt in prayer. We sat in the Revelation Room where sections of the Doctrine and Covenants were inspired and written. We had the most wonderful day and left with a wonderful Spirit and peace knowing we are where the Lord wants us to be. We love our mission!
